For those of you not from Belton, the final spring band concert is BAND-O-RAMA it is a fund raiser for the band and every junior high and high school band performs on that night. The picture to the left is Jacob's entire sixth grade band.
There are several kids who play percussion, but occassionally Mr. Dudley, their teacher, will also join their performance. Jacob is playing the cymbal here. (Mr. Dudley, Ethan & Ben are to his right)
During this song Jacob is playing the bells, he doesn't have a solo but because of the part he is playing (melody, I think) he was a stand out instrument! Great job.
The left half of the band, directed by Mrs. Nalley. We have loved the entire band experience for Jacob. He auditioned and earned a place on the Wind Ensemble next year (the top junior high band).
